Chinese herbal medicine, used for over 3000 years, aims to strengthen our body’s vitality. CHM is founded on the belief that our body’s essential life force, Chi, consists of equal and opposite qualities, Yin and Yang. If these qualities become imbalanced illness may occur. CHM aims to restore this balance and support our Chi, returning us to health
I have trained extensively in India and the UK in Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine. I have been in practice since 1998 and work as a general practitioner treating a broad range of conditions. However, I specialise in treating skin problems, women’s health and digestive disorders.
Practising herbal medicine is a great honour for me. To be able to enter into a wholesome healing relationship with my patients and to utilise the powerful effects of natural plant medicines is my life’s work. The depth of wisdom that is contained in the traditional medical systems of Ayurveda, Chinese medicine and our own European herbal practice is a continual inspiration. The ability of many of my patients to address the underlying problems with their health and to flourish into rejuvenated people is a joy to see.
