Bowen Technique is a non-invasive, hands-on treatment that aims to allow the body to ‘re-set’ and heal itself. The treatment addresses key points on the body to stimulate energy flow. Working with the soft tissue to encourage realignment, it involves a gentle, rolling motion with very light touches. It’s a particularly gentle therapy and has been reported to have profound results within a few sessions.
I started studying Shiatsu in 1997. At the time I was working in a charity in London. Shiatsu gradually came to become the new direction for my life. In 2004 we moved from London to Frome, Somerset.
I then added the Bowen Technique and Thai Foot Massage to my skills.
As of March 2013 I completed the first year of Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine training, which focuses on how we can adapt our systems to meet the new stresses – be it chemical, emotional, physical or spiritual – that we have never met before in our evolution.
